How charity clothing collection works
ACCS runs free, scheduled used clothing collections for charities, op shops and organisations in Brisbane and South East Queensland, and Adelaide and South Australia. Here's what happens from your site to our depot.
Step by step
Request a collection
Partner charities book collections for their sites in the charity portal. Not a partner yet? Sign up as a partner, send us an enquiry or call +61 420 136 609.
We schedule a run
Your site is added to one of our collection runs in Queensland or South Australia. Regular partner sites are serviced on an agreed frequency, and there is no charge for the service.
Pickup and docket
On the day, our driver collects the bags or bales, can drop off empty bags, bales and clips, and completes a collection docket recording the date, time, run, vehicle, quantities and signatures.
Processed and diverted from landfill
Collected goods are taken to our depot for processing and diverted from landfill.
Partners see the results
Partner charities can log in to the charity portal to view every docket and their collection totals, and keep their contact details up to date.
